From the Wall Street Journal.
Like happened with Medicare, private solutions that work just fine for the vast majority of elderly people will wither away in the face of a government benefit. And when the benefit turns into crap, the private sector won't be there any more for us. Did you know it is now impossible to obtain conventional complete health insurance for an elderly person? At any price? They just don't write the policies any more.
So now, another invented crisis creates another unlimited entitlement. It will cost far more than predicted, which has been the unbroken record of every entitlement ever created. And one more step toward the real goal of the Left: having every American forced to crawl to their lords in Washington for their every medical need.
Think of the votes.
Thanks loads, Republican Party. I expect socialism from the Democrats: they live for it.
