Solar eclipse

The eclipse is in a few hours and if you can simulate (through for instance Starry Night) and put yourself as an observer, on the Moon, look towards the Earth, the Pleiades are just above the Earth!

However, in reality, because it's Full Earth from the Moon (except for that tiny black spot at the southernmost tip of the Earth), we wouldn't be able to see M45, because of the brilliance of our own planet.
