This sounds reasonable to me, but there would definitely be some roadblocks put up. Any talk of a Kurdistan seems to put the Turks in a tizzy. As far as a Sunnistan and Shiistan, some may have a problem estranging Baghdad from the oil wells in the south. Could a Sunnistan support Baghdad without the income of those southern oil wells?
