I have heard the standard warnings from the official sources, but the scuttlebutt on less mainstream sites is that something big is in the works for attacks on the U.S.

I'm not going to get into a tizzy about this, since the various sites have uncertain pedigrees IMO, but frankly, I'm amazed that the U.S. has suffered no attacks at all on its homeland since 9/11. I have expected something on various holidays, anniversaries, and other significant dates. The first July 4th after September 11, I was traveling. I had emergency equipment with me, including a geiger counter.
