Too bad this little commentary by the Nation's David Cole isn't available online. It's a story that just might tighten your spinchter muscle or keep you looking over your shoulder for a long time. It's the story about a Canadian citizen, Maher Arar who was changing planes in NY's JFK airport en route from Zurich to Montreal in September, 2002 who was sent to Syria for "questioning" by American authorities for over a year where he endured TORTURE for no other reason than he was born in Syria.

Maybe you ought to buy a real magazine that prints obsure articles or unpopular, out of the mainstream media machine to enlighten you as to what REALLY is taking place around us.
