Master and Commander
Great flick for 8 and over, my 4 year old grandson fell asleep about half way through but it was good enough for him to deny he was ever asleep.
One thing that bothers me about films today is the gratuitous way they set up sequels. It was obvious by the ending that they expect to make another one and imo this detracts from the story.
I have always thought that a good story must have a beginning, a middle and an end. Leaving the end in limbo is irritating.
