Well, if this subject planet is the same distance as Neptune is from our sun (30 AU) I don't think it could be in a habitable zone for life. I believe for a planet to be in the habitable zone for Vega is around 10 AU.
Vega has a few first like: distance measured, star spectrum taken and found to have a dust disk surrounding a star.
