This is getting silly. Contradictory reports are coming out daily. It's almost enough to turn an amateur wannabe armchair space cadet's stomach. The Pres might have to make an announcement to announce he's not making an announcement (unless, of course, he is).
Does the existence of so many allegedly "in-the-loop" sources, with views so clearly at odds with each other, indicate some sort of power struggle in the admin?
