No doubt about it. But we never know ahead of time which of those things they are.
I saw a rock in those pictures that looked exactly like a fish. Of course, I knew without a doubt it wasn't a fish, but not because of the data in the image, but because of the context in which it was taken, and because of what I already know about fish and Mars.
And it always isn't as easy as fish and fingers and faces, is it? And sometimes its a lot more compelling...
