How do you know?
Have you ever been there? Has your source ever been there? Have they seen for themselves, touched it, checked for fingerprints?
Or are they just guessing, just saying that simply because no one has ever claimed to see a human finger there before that there isn't one?
I'll bet there are alternative news sources with access to data which the mainstream will NOT publicize which will claim it's a human finger. Remember, you don't read it all on MSNBC, not by a long shot. The mainstream media is simply a big shill for what "they" want you to know.
Some of us have done a lot of research in this area, know our sources, and keep an open mind. We do not let "them" rule our minds, we decide for ourselves. We won't know if that's a human finger until someone credible can examine it.
Believe what you see for yourself, not what is interpreted by others, mixed with sugar, and fed you for breakfast.
There's a story behind that sole human finger, the middle finger of the left hand, how that finger got torn off by a very angry Martian familiar with Western Earth culture and how it got left outside the cave.
