Given the pro-freedom aspects of the internet, both politically and financially, I'm not surprised they want to try and nail this phenomenon to the floorboards.
The horror that some human transactions may actually go untaxed and unregulated keeps some people in our country awake, too.
Did anyone ever notice how the Internet developed into an ordered, and immensely complex working system without a "Federal Department of Computer Communications" in charge?
