All those who support President Bush are in effect saying it is OK for us to colonialize the rest of the world by force, paid for by our tax dollars (usning the young lifeblood of our nation), We are also saying that we support these wars because it aids and abetts his business partners and back scratchers in the defense industry. To them it's BUSINESS, and a damn good one! And you guys fall for sound bytes like "terrorism" and "freedom" and "honor". You're such an easy bunch to lead.
And of course, most all of these contractors have never been to WAR, but will manipulate those who do it because it's not hard to get anyone motivated with so much hatred to breed around and so much money to be made. The line of Bush's has been making money for decades by arming both sides, or conveniently baiting and switching bitter rivals. What folly!
Well, there are Vietnam vets against this war, and all the others that are to follow. Do YOU want to grow up in a world with endless war? Do you want your children to grow up in a world with endless war? Well, vote for Bush!
One vet sums it up: "We as a nation must stop thinking of ourselves as exceptional and worthy of special privileges above other nations and peoples. We must stop glorifying war. We must stop praising institutional murder."
"Only when our nation behaves honorably and honestly with all other nations, giving respect as we wish to be respected, seeking only peace and justice for all nations and peoples, will we be worthy of the rigors our military veterans have endured in our name."
Where can we find such a candidate to run for president? Where is there somebody with real HONOR? One who cares about LIFE and PEACE and CO-OPERATION over PROFIT?
