I wonder how much longer it will last circling the sun with continued pounding of CME's. I guess being close to the sun only every two years would help life expectancy.

Japan is experiencing to many set backs. Hope would have been a great asset for the understanding of Mars atmospheric conditions and possible history.

The learning curve for Japan has risen.
