Look, Sparticus is an annoying jerk. He has insulted the space credentials of charter members based on his political dislike of them- and thats really sad and sorry.

I agree with Frank- I think he is likely a wannabe whose closest encounter with a tour of duty is flipping through Soldier of Fortune while on break at the local WalMart.

I agree with nearly everyone who has chastized him here. I can't stand the guy.

I do not, however, agree with your threatened actions.

Maybe he has somehow struck a nerve of yours- which is understandable... If I was a moderator and Lee popped up on my own board, I probably would have banned or threatened to ban Lee because I find his 'mind' so abhorrent- but the right thing to do was to let the guy roam free.

Ebnelson and MANY others post vitriolic and personally insulting language to those they disagree with on a weekly or even hourly basis. I find Sparticus to be no more and no less insulting. The 'iron site' crack to Tom was way out of line, and deserves a good smack down- but everyone deserves at least one reading of the riot act before banishment is trotted out. Besides, you are threatening him because he gets personal and insulting (or so I believe based on what I have read), not because he was vaguely threatening.

I won't go as far as Lindy and say that you ARE acting selectively, unfairly and with bias... but I DO agree that you are certainly leaving yourself open to that criticism. Like VERY VERY wide open.
