I'm not all that shocked
I said it stunk, didn't I? Newsweek makes a couple of mistakes in their details, but the basic idea that this is just too damn perfect (uranium from Niger??) is what makes it suspect IMO.
A lot of conservatives who should have known better (48 hour rule) ran hard with this one last week, and I cringed.
As is pointed out in your link, the Guardian should have known better too. They have been nailed on a lot of crap in the past year.
