Hey- that flight test carried it through its entire set of functional requirements: Passive carry, launch release, rocket-powered supersonic flight, 'shuttlecock' descent, back to gluide and then successful landing!
If this was a piece of software and this was a unit-test profile, I would report to my boss that the product was ready for early betas!
Rutan may be a complete crank in many respects(believes space aliens built the pyramids), but if he can go the last few yards with Space Ship One, he will have my vote for man and engineer of the decade.
