What the hell is THIS??
Cities all over California, including mine, are wailing about having to cut essential services and many other items due to the reversal of the tripling of the car tax.
Now wait just a goddam minute. The car tax was increased in October. It remained at its bloated level for about six weeks.
How does a city go broke that fast? What was paying for all these essential services before October? The tax is now exactly what it was when our city was doing fine a few months ago.
Who do they think they're fooling? They're hoping for a bailout, and whining about a poverty that couldn't possible exist to get one.
