"Soldier" is a term specific to the Army. There were a lot of Marines, Airmen, and Sailors (and those of several of our Allies like the Brits and the Aussies) involved. The title as it stands can be considered a slight to the other forces involved, especially the Marines.

If they want to limit it to Americans, I'd prefer the award go to "The American Military."

If they want to include our Allies (and they should), then perhaps the award should go to the Coalition forces. However, that would admit that we actually had allies in the fight and were NOT acting unilaterally. No, that would not do.

Of course, Time would just as soon commit suicide as to give the award to George Bush.
