Speaking of reindeer...
While walking downtown, I glanced into an alley behind a theater and lo! There was a sled (on wheels) with Santa in it. It was behind two (not 8) very real and alive reindeer. There was no possible fakery. It was broad daylight and I got to with 10 feet of the reindeer. They were quite alive. They were females, but had antlers. Reindeer are the only deer whose female have antlers. I was stunned. I am NOT making it up.
