They impeached Clinton on preposterous grounds, and those guys were were a far more sane bunch than the current GOP. Plus consider how their leadership will be in shambles if Romney is soundly defeated in an electoral landslide.

Will they become despondent and sulk for a few years and decide to become a more reasonable and intelligent party, or will they sink deeper into their bizarre fantasy world about foreign muslim socialist dictators who hate and want to destroy America? Will we see a big jump in rightwing nutcase domestic terrorism?
