Mr. Limbaugh has been implicated with multiple felonies and, frankly, it looks pretty bad for him. The judge would not have released the records if there didn't appear to be some measure of substance to the allegations.
The charges are actually pretty simple to substantiate. Mr. Limbaugh has already admitted to popping pills. So no matter how you cut it, he was illegally obtaining these controled substances. And that's a felony crime.
As for the ex-maid, at present all you have is a verbal charge made by defendent's attorney. Not too terribly different than how Scott Peterson's attorney's tried to divert the public's attention from the main crime. But even if it were true, it would not exonerate Mr. Limbaugh. In fact, an extortion plot can only work if Mr. Limbaugh did, indeed, have something to hide.
Of course, it amusing to watch Rush's defenders use the innocent-until-proven-guilty excuse when these very same individuals tried and convicted Bill and Hillary Clinton without a hairball's worth of evidence.
But, let me grant you your due...Mr. Limbaugh is innocent until proven guilty. The question is how long will it take to prove him guilty?

He will likely cop a plea
