Dear Justin.
Holiday greetings and salutations from a forum member from Spacedaily.com.
Instead of sending you a private e-mail, Justin, I decided to let this become
an open letter for all your forum/message-board members to read; especially
those of you who are American citizens.
It's important.
By now you must know that the name of your discreet website has been
irresponsibly publicized by two forum/messageboard members; one
from the Mars Society messageboard; and one from our forum.
They have been dealt with in an appropriate manner.
But the damage has been done as you can tell with a
person going by the username, Spartacus.
I myself am a Canadian, living in Calgary, Alberta.
This jerk going by the username Spartacus does indeed
live in Edmonton as his message URL, 216.123.126.132,
clearly indicates.
While he is living in Edmonton, Canada, this fellow going
by the name Spartacus does not represent the views of
myself, the majority of Canadians, nor of the Spacedaily.com
website,
I've unfortunately encountered the URL, 216,123,126,132 before
on the Spacedaily.com forum webpages.
He has been censured at Spacedaily.com for inapproriate
threads and language.
I extend Spacedaily.com's apologies for not warning you
that the discreetness of your website has been compomised.
Justin? While I am Canadian, and Spacedaily.com is a website
run from Australia, I've had the privilege to serve as a webmaster
in this hemisphere to that site for a few months a while ago.
It was a wonderful experience, except for the matter of that
highly-offensive man from Edmonton.
He may indeed have served as a Canadian peacekeeping
soldier in Bosnia in 1994. News records do show that the VanDoo
regiment did serve there at that time. Whatever that malignant
man's grievances are, he has no right to attack other people's
patriotism.
Justin? And all you habitablezone.com members, please remember
that we, those at habitablezone.com, Spacedaily.com, Mars society,
etc., are devoted to space exploration and travel.
Let's keep the focus ladies and gentlemen and have a happy new year.
Sincerily; Jim Bissell.

P.S. Justin? Just as a suggestion. We at Spacedaily.com try to avoid
political topics and arguments like the plague. They don't accomplish
anything worthwihile and they sidetrack space devotees from the topic of
space travel
An open letter to Justin Kelly, and habitablezone.com, from Spacedaily.com.
