JPL has produced a very cool on-line movie about Mars Exploration Rover's (MER) Entry Descent and Landing (EDL). The movie can be found at the following web site. This movie is an
aeronautical engineer's wet dream. The movie is BIG, 17 Mbytes! If you want to see it, then stop what you
are doing and download it NOW. The MER websites will be jammed after MER lands on Mars. I was able
to play the Mpeg version of the movie with sound using the Xine program on Linux.

One of the guys appearing on the move was Wayne Lee. He ran the team that designed MER's EDL system. After MER-B was on its way to Mars, Wayne came to NASA Ames to hand out mission achievement
certificates and do group photos.
