Baghdad rocks...
I could go on for days on how the media words things to try and make a point, but when I read this, I realized how often the news had led with the words "explosions rock Baghdad," even if a single grenade had gone off somewhere in the city. Hey, I saw our bombing runs last spring, and I know when an explosion has "rocked" something.
Most people are unaware that many districts of Baghdad are seeing little or no violence at all. It also should be noted that the attackers have learned to focus on the areas like the hotels where news people are.
