re: Eternally Yours
Hi Don,
Looks like time is a very subjective notion.
When I was 10, I had the impression one year was much longer than one year when I'm 46.
Maybe because it was 1/10th of my life while now it's 1/46th.
Maybe because we learn much more when we're 10 than much later.
When I was drafted in the army, I accepted it and time went by in a normal pace. Some guys deserted a few weeks after their arrival (they were 6 years younger than I was) and I've often wondered why they did it. Would the same number of months seem so long to them as to take the risk of finding themselves in jail and having to spend much longer in the army than if they hadn't?
