Mars Direct Question
As I understand it, Zubrin’s plan calls for 50 billion dollars (or so) to fund a 2 dot something years mission to Mars and back. Is that correct?
My question would be: What’s the rest of NASA’s manned space flight program going to be doing during the mission? Anything? Would there be enough budget left to do anything but the Mars mission?
