Condolences to ESA on Beagle, but ME is still very cool in itself.
One question though about what to expect from it in terms of imaging.
It seems like the biggest innovation is the stereo imaging -- is that right? The high-res pictures of HRSC are no better than MGS, and the multi-spectral portion sounds similar in resolution and capability to THEMIS, in visible and near-IR at least.
That raises another question: the Mars Express team seems to make a great deal about how they will produce full color images. The THEMIS team not so much; they've hardly released any color images. Is this a matter of different priorities by the teams, or does HRSC (the Express camera system) have better "true color" capabilities than THEMIS?
Thanks!
