With a few people you could get almost a kilo of explosive into a plane using body cavities. Such an explosion if well placed could take out a plane, depends on where the control wires/hydrolic lines run, just a depressurization would cause loss of life. Setting a small charge (75-150 grams) of explosive set on a water bottle filled with benzine or other flammable fluid would have a disasterous effect on an aircraft at 8,000 meters
