I am absolutely stunned by the new b&w image of one of the hill regions they unveiled today at the press conference. They look dramatically larger and closer than before and are breathtakingly beautiful. They could easily pass for an Ansel Adams picture of the American Southwest. I don't know why it hasn't been posted on the internet sites yet, but I think it should be on the front page of every newspaper in the country tomorrow. Also, for those who missed the press conference it looks like there is a good chance they will head in the direction of those very hills when the rover starts moving. Apparently the hills are only mile or so away.

Wonder what they should name those hills?
