Sure, one can argue over who gets exactly how much credit for the great economic acheivements of the 1990's but the fact remains that they were real, and mainly happened when Clinton - a founding member of the DLC - was President. The longest period of sustained economic growth in US history, low unemployment, 20 million new jobs, a balanced budget.

Even if that were just coincidence, any Democrat with any brains would be exploiting the hell out of it instead of uttering inane comments like "We need to remake the Democratic Party" No wonder Hillary is fuming. She and Bill are thinking, "We did remake the Democratic Party - and we got two big wins over the Republicans and all these acheivements to prove it"

In the end Dean's campaign is suicidal and Bush should win around 40 states come November.
