How did the rover land on its feet?
Spirit sent a signal that told NASA it came to rest right side up. What if it didn't?
Maybe I'm wrong, but it looked like the airbag cushion had more than one side on which it could sit. I haven't been able to find anything on how they planned to tip the airbag assembly to ensure the base pedal ended up on the bottom. Can the airbags be deflated sequentially to roll the package right side up?
