What does one have to do with the other? The CNN story concerns a G-Class star, 46 light years away, which shares many characteristics with our own sun. The scan from the encyclopedia concerns a hypothesized brown dwarf companion to our own sun. Aside from both article referring to our sun, I don't see what kind of connection can be made between the two.
