Hi David

Depends on the mortar, the US 4.2 was designed specifically as a deliever of chemical rounds. Gas shells, especially for a persistent agent with a medium or light mortar seems a tad stupid, a range of 2-4 kilometers being a bit close in my mind. But then if your not concerned about casualties....
