Far be it from me to alter your current view of history, but I should make two points:

- Saddam certainly did have WMD. He built them, and used them, both on his own people and on those of neighboring nations. That this happened some years ago is beside the point.

- The point of the United Nations efforts and resolutions prior to the war was not for us to prove he had WMD, but for Saddam to prove he no longer did. Read the resolutions sometime, along with the reports of the inspectors on how Saddam blocked them at almost every point in this effort.

And the intelligence services of at least two nations and under two U.S. administrations said Saddam was a threat in this area. Argue with them.
