I was in a traffic accident a while back. My auto insurance agent asked how I felt. When I mentioned that my neck hurt, she sent me to the doctor. He had me get an MRI. Subsequently, my insurance company sent me a form to fill out giving them authorization to examine all of my current and future medical records. I returned the form unsigned with the notation "You've got to be kidding."
Seems to me that med records ought to be available to the police if they contain info pertinent to a case. A judge should be required to authorize a warrant. Info disclosed that way should, of course, be treated with respect.
I can see why the ACLU would jump on it, though. They are and are supposed to be rabid about the Bill of Rights.
That they don't support your interpretation of the 2nd ammendment, doesn't mean they selectively support rights they like. I don't agree with your interpretation, either. But I am a big fan of the Bill.
