An all-American space program? What? No international effort?
Did you notice that?
George Bush made no direct reference to
his ambitious space plan specifically involving any international partners.
Is this a go-alone deep-space program involving only
America and its taxpayers? No western European
and Russian involvement.
Raoul Lannoy must be highly-displeased by this fact.
One wonders if George W. Bush really trusts foreign partners,
with the exceptions of Great Britain and Australia...and maybe Japan.
It leaves me wondering....Hmmmmm....
