Space X announces its intent to develop a large-scale version of its launch vehicle, with a 9,200 lb payload capacity to LEO.
Interestingly, this is almost exactly the weight of the XV vehicle we designed for Alternate Access, which had a manned version (not presented at AAS, obviously) that could carry up to 4 people.
