Just like my dad...
He's a hockey... well, "fan" doesn't begin to describe him. I have memories of him standing up in the kitchen backlit by the light over the sink, and the rest of the room in darkness. He chain-smoked and nursed a beer while listening to the New York Rangers play hockey. I must have been very young: he was unbelievably tall.
The Rangers are his team, and Boston is the devil incarnate on skates. But if the Rangers are out of it, the Bruins walk on water.
Well, they do anyway... it's frozen...
Regards--
