I remember reading that years ago (long before CD's) when astronomers would take pictures and there would be a straight light path on there plate they would be mad and junk the plate as a ruined photo. If only they would have kept it they would have discovered an asteroid.
Very cool this 2 minute exposer yields such a small object.
