The media apparently has no trouble with "classified information" when it's something they want to promote.

I think what bugs me more than anything is the sheer eagerness on the part of some people to see Iraq fail. Oh, they'll tell you that we should "stay the course," and that they hope for the best, but when you listen to them for a while you begin to see that the fall of a nation into civil war and the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis, or their descent into totalitarianism again, would be a small price to pay in their eyes for the massive political hit on the current administration.

And before you get huffy, I have seen this attitude laid out in so many words in some leftist publications.
