be passed on to university syndications due to the much longer effective life. This would allow younger groups of workers to gain truly valuable experience, freeing more experienced researchers to develop more frontier breaking programs.
And the economies of scale in multiple launches could truly bring the costs down dramatically.
We could develop a really large book of knowledge about Mars ths way, making the cost and risk of sending manned missions more reasonable.
