Space/Science » in reply to Daytime, Summer temperatures and pressures are within the range to permit liquid water at both sites.

When I was a young-en, I licked a frosty screen door.

Ok, lets assume air pressures and temperatures are in the bounds for liquid water. I don't doubt it.

-Cold GROUND.

Just like the flag pole, my tounge froze to the door. The same way a putative liquid water drop would freeze on the ground.

-The ATMOSPHERE is dry.

The liquid water drop would quickly evaporate due to low atmospheric water vapor content even if the P and T were in place.
