Personally, I'd rather be in a world were there was definitely WMD, where we had an effective pre- and post- invasion containment plan because that would mean that we didn't screw it up at every damn step of the way.

Is there Iraqi WMD in Syria or even in Al-Qaeda hands? Personally I doubt it, but unless we invade Syria just to be sure we'll never really know will we?
Between the uncertain Syrian connection, the on/off Al-Qaeda connection and the mobile labs......well, hence my weak attempt at humour with the straws.
