Why wouldn't such prizes' existence incentivize others' investing in you?
Why wouldn't such prizes' existence incentivize others' investing in you? Who would you rather try to persuade that your idea is superior:
a) corrupt bureaucrats; or:
b) venture capitalists, angel capitalists, shareholders or even mere credit card holders?
The issue, in my view, is why on Earth merely 1/1000 of NASA's budget's proposed for funding such prizes? $20 million's NOT a lot where space is concerned, especially considering NASA's $16 billion dollar annual budget.
