How about converting a 1956 Ford pickup truck
into a hydrofoil?
Fit it with hydroplanes; a spare 8-cylinder 150HP engine in the back
with a propeller attached; and some steering rudders.
Then? God-willing, you might just skim across to Florida
at about 50-60mph.
