Its a very valid point about someone being from the Senate, no matter what side of the political isle, will have pretty shady political history. What Concerns me are the democratic constituents who chose thier candidate on the grounds of whoever they think can beat Bush and not on who they think has principles or would make a good president. (I would not be all that opposed to Dean being president, I woudl still prefer Bush, but I think Dean is not all that bad) They stand to elect someone who is every bit as worse as they think Bush is. Or is it that by virtue of being a Democrate thats impossible? Let me assure anyone who thinks that, that there are spinless politicians on both sides of the isle. and just because they call GWBush a total bastard, doesn't mean they aren't as well.
