Hell, they went into Iraq, took over it's Central Bank, took the oil wells and are dolling out the contracts (aka favoritism). Halliburton is in there using illegal middle men and price gouging and refusing to hire Iraqis to rebuild their own systems with their own parts. Not when they can outsource them and make a buck.
And oil and gas prices are going up here because they CAN. And if you think this is bad, just wait before the November election when Bush & Cheney put the squeeze on the American people until they cry "uncle" with soaring gas prices. What a great last minute plan to manipulate the people,,,,,by their pocketbooks.
And why were Cheney's energy meetings so SECRET?
And why didn't President Bush step in to cap prices during the California electric price gouging a couple of years back, even when Grey Davis asked him to?
Because, Bush can do anything he damn well wants.
