Kerry, the ultimate Janus of politics

Us folk in MA are well aware of John Forbes Kerry's penchant for taking a strong stand on both sides of any issue. Here is Mr Decisive on Gulf War I...
"With the first Gulf war at the start of the 1990s Kerry changed positions so rapidly his staff grew dizzy with the effort of keeping up with their boss’s gyrations. He finally voted against authorizing the war, but almost immediately issued a press release supporting the invasion. The 2003 war finds Kerry voting with the Bush administration {authorizing complete presidential discretion for use of military force - phil}, only to cast himself in the early primary season as an opponent."

And the DNC populist cry denouncing outsourcing of jobs will have to be toned down too, " the Kerry family business, H.J. Heinz Co. of Pittsburgh, operates 22 factories in the United States and 57 in foreign countries. I don't think that Kerry should shut down The Heinz 57, but he might drop the rhetoric and talk about trade, responsibly." Well, so much for THAT issue. But then, don't underestimate Mr Both Sides. Kerry's economic plan? Well it's gonna be nigh impossible for John F Kerry to find an ultra-rich older country for the US to betroth. But then, beloved by the liberal mass media and newly photogenic (Vogue) via botox, JFK will be marketed to us incessantly as the anti-Bush.
