Try and convince me that if the letter had said something like "al Qaeda never had any relationship with Iraq or Saddam prior to the war" you would be doubting its authenticity.
The military is pushing this letter hard in Iraq right now, so if it's a forgery, they seem damn confident.
It will be instructive to see what comes of translations from the Arabic from other sources besides the military.
