One 20-year-old flick . . .
Just watched “Unfaithfully Yours†(1984), starring Dudley Moore and Nastassja Kinski. Saw it years ago, and it remains a genuine charmer.
Just loved the dueling violins between Claude (Dudley) and Max (Armand Assante)!
And Dudley’s vengeful daydream during the final concert!
But, alas, the best laid plans of -- well, you know how it goes...
All in all, a very enjoyable flick. I didn’t know people could get so totally smashed at the Russian Tearoom without being kicked out. Is it really just a matter of how much money you have, or just a generally overlooked dehumanization flaw in Hollywoodology?
Anyway, Dudley was just one of so many who passed through our lives far too quickly.
Cheers, all,
Dan
